Events during the various periods of the year

The events begin in April, with the show-flower market and the traditional blessing of the horses, the long series of events designed to animate the busiest tourist period:

The May 1 held a colorful procession of boats;

The month of July, the National Painting Prize named after Francesco Paolo Michetti and a festival dedicated to beer;

In August, the procession of canephorae, bringing a gift to St. Rocco the fruits kept in wicker baskets on their heads.

The feast of the Patron Saint Franco Hermit is celebrated on August 18 and ends with a superb show of fireworks over the sea.
